Reporting to the VP of Advanced Analytics, the Senior Machine Learning (ML) Engineer will play a crucial role in scaling our predictive analytics engine end-to-end.

What you will do:

Participate and guide all aspects of analytical project lifecycle – from requirement gathering, data acquisition and preparation, hypothesis generation, ideation, coding, testing, and deployment of machine learning models
Develop state-of-the-art machine learning models. Iterate to push the boundaries on how problems can be solved through data science
Conduct open-ended data exploration to answer product questions and design experiments to enable decision making as we iterate on solutions
Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for innovation
Develop data preparation/cleansing/ETL pipelines, in collaboration with the engineering team
Formulate statistical questions to address business needs

Our ideal candidate will have:

MS or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field
7+ years of industry experience in developing and operationalizing machine learning models in production
Strong math and statistics background, along with exceptional reasoning skills with probability
Extensive programming experience in Python (optional, R experience as well)
Experience in machine learning libraries, such as PyTorch, Scikit-learn, MLlib, Tensorflow, and Keras
Ability to deploy and scale ML models into a production environment
Great communication skills, both written and oral; comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences
Deep experience with SQL
