Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Reporting to the VP of Technology, the Senior Full-Stack Engineer

What you will do:
- Deliver world-class software, across the full stack, in tight iterations with a cutting edge team to drive the business forward
- Execute a disciplined agile methodology and process
- Adopt consistent engineering standards and practices
- Shape the initial engineering culture of the company
- Work closely with the VP of Technology to make technology and implementation decisions
- Work to evaluate and integrate critical third-party software and infrastructure
- Develop and take full ownership of new, client-facing features and productionizing them
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of real-world experience developing and delivering quality software
- Have strong programming fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)
- Have substantial and demonstrated experience with the following frameworks / technologies / languages – Micro services, Python, Django, NextJS, Node.JS, React / Redux, GraphQL
- Have hands-on knowledge developing applications for the cloud (preferably GCP)
- Have a proven history of delivering increasingly complex, highly available and scalable distributed systems
- Be proficient in analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Be passionate about creating high quality product that promote the business
- Be able to work independently with little oversight or management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy and mission-driven colleagues
- Is a great team player
- Has a curious and collaborative mentality
