About SeaMoss Blends

Founded in 2020, SeaMoss Blends. Is a holistic company that provides a range of sea moss products including gels, smoothies, soaps and body butters.

Challenges

Alecia Swaby, owner of SeaMoss Blends, was faced with the same reality as most online brands – increasing customer acquisition costs. Alicia notes:

“I was seeing how expensive and time consuming acquiring new customers was”

As this reality set in, Alecia decided that the best approach to increasing sales and average order value (AOV) is by focusing on retention strategies, and driving value from her existing customer base. Alecia notes:

Through the Polymatiks app, since early 2022, SeaMoss Blends has been delivering personalized offers that are curated to each customer based on their behavior.

As part of its personalized offers strategy, SeamMoss Blends:

  • Delivers 2 personalized offers, per week, per customer
  • Allows customers to link their Instagram account to their SeaMoss Blends account, and incentivizes them to do so by unlocking additional personalized offers
  • Has customized the look-and-feel of the Polymatiks widget to match their branding

As part of its focus on retention, SeaMoss Blends also focused on email marketing to engage with her customer base. 

Using Polymatiks’ Email PropTM, Alicia was able to hyper-personalize her marketing emails – by embedding each customer’s weekly personalized offers. That’s next level email personalization, and Alecia loved this unique personalized customer experience for her customers!

SeaMoss Blends has leveraged the Polymatiks x Klaviyo integration at its fullest, as it has continued to increase sales by focusing on retention as well as delivering a superior and personalized customer experience through her online store and email marketing. 

SeaMoss Blends saw a 177% increase in revenue per email recipient, a 77% increase in placed order rate, and a 62% increase in email open rate!
